ABOUT
In the mid 1970s a rebellious communist party called the CPK also known as the Khmer Rouge began to take control of Cambodia. This group destroyed the Cambodian people's way of life, killed 2 million of their own population, and forced the Cambodian people to revert back to the middle ages' agricultural lifestyle. This website was made to educate others unfamiliar with the catastrophic events of the Khmer Rouge. This website was also made to honnor those who died during the event and those who survived.
